Yesterday friends had a get together... we had a small debate as to why we have children? for me it is very simple i needed a child for myself, for my emotional growth and i think motherhood is Grt i created someone my very own and very vry dear to me...i was surprised to hear some saying tht bcoz their parents insisted, bcoz they think atleast one child shud b there or ppl will think they r impotent, for the society to give a future generation....what is the importance of your child to u? why did u decide to have a baby ? will u have a baby ever if yes Why?

I have been thinking lately that a couple could save a lot of money by not having kids - they would be able to go on trips more, do other activities, hang out with other people. Having a kid, is definitely not for poor or financially struggling people. But, for me, I would love to have children eventually to create a sense of family. To me, personally, my family would not be complete without having children, either my own or adopted. I will hopefully have my own one day, but I would like to be more financially secure and stable before I can even consider starting a family. It just wouldn't be fair to have a child and not be able to support it.

Hi nupats - heh. Guys are different too I find. They tend to fall in love with their own children when they are holding them in their hands for the first time. Thanks for your comment!

I can't imagine my life without my children and I can't remember a time when I didn't want to have children. I don't really know how to put it in words why I have them - I just know that I always wanted to. When I was young I constantly babysat and I couldn't wait to have kiddos of my own.

Hi dear
Nice discussion and i do agree with few points and sure i weould love to have kids and with the grace of Al mighty Allah i have 2 kids.
I dont want to kids that i want to prove that i am not impotent or some one insisted,
I want kids as they are necessary to complete ur feelings and Nature has this thing INBUILT in u
other things, as part of society its ur duty to have family and kids si nation and society can grow, As Reproduction is important for future of world. Thsats why i believe that its not important to give birth to kids, but to raise them in a way that they are beneficial for themselves, society, nation
take care

hi good morning to u
this is my first response of the day . this question is great. most of us want children but cannot plan it. it is more of a byproduct of a game they are playing for their enjoyment.planning comes little later and the question is whether they want more children?that is why it is called family planning -when uou plan not to have more of them.

thank u so much dear..yes it is true wt u say..but just imagine a life without kids it will b so dull and boring..the house will b so quiet a kid adds a bounce to the life..even when i am on the PC i can see him playing around me and singing in his baby language and dancing all over...there is not one lonely moment...i think if we plan a child we can enjoy all the more bcoz there will b no regrets like i wanted to this in life and all tht...happy parenting..let us all love our child make them good human beings..
