I have changed my first handset in 7 months.
Its been 9 months now with my second handset and iam already thinkin of buying a third one.
Its not that i get bored very easily with one handset. Its mainly due to the fact how expensive the mobile is and how much i can afford with great features in it.

Mobile phones nowadays is a fashion, an equipment for entertainment and to some 20% of real use.
Everyone who think this way today changes mobile phones on every 1-2 months with latest models.
But the person who actually uses mobile hardly change it.
I am using just my 3rd one, first one was a basic motorola which had very low ringtones hard to hear in public I changed, second one sony erricson got broken and now nokia 3310 working fine no probs no need to change at all.

Normally I change my handset after 1.5 to 2 years as the telcom company provide a good discount for handset when you upgrade with a 2 year contract.

I try to keep my handset updated. I try to buy new mobile when some new model comes to market and I like the model. I prefer the Nokia mobiles over other brands.

The mobile I own currently is my second one. I got both the first one and the second as a gift from DH for my birthdays. I dont change my phone quite often. Many people like to be updated with the latest models, and I have friends who change models every 6th month. They dont mind, even if the mobile they previously own is taken for low cost.

Well, I have the same mobile phone since the last few years so I can say I don't change them almost at all. I use it only for calling so I don't see any reason to change it if it still works. Cheers.

when i was in college, i frequently change hand set but now that im working, i only stick to my mobile phone because i realized its just a waste of money.
Why? you buy the latest model and then after a month a new model will be released. and you would be like, i shouldnt have bought that phone..
