Takoyaki balls are amazing! I love the mayonaisse-y sauce and the sweet soy sauce that is drizzled on top. Do you eat the octopus ones or do you prefer other flavors? I like the octopus one the best, but I also like the scallops and shrimps. Do you generally watch them make it? It's pretty interesting how they cook them into balls. I like how places usually serve them with long toothpicks to eat with. I still don't know all the ingredients that go into a takoyaki ball.

yep the octopus ones are the best. did you see the takoyaki mascot i made hahah..im thinking of buying a takoyaki grill so i can have them at home.. yummy! i havent tried scallops though but i have tried the babyshrimps. yep its amazing how they make them..

I love the mascot - How cute! If you can make this at home, you could always satisfy your takoyaki craving when you get it. How awesome would that be. The link is great at explaining how to make them. One question: what is tenkasu?

tenkasu is the crunchy fried batter that you add to the takoyaki and okonomiyaki like lil tempura flakes hehe..
im sure if that mascot can take..hed hate me.. i dont think octopus eats takoyaki let alone cook it..thats cannibalism dont you think LOL =P
