It seems the amount of sleep I get has lessened as I grow older. It used to be about 7 and now it is about 6.

I usually sleep for 8 hours,
But once i slept on for about 14 hours!!

You are correct about it, i almost lost half of my day, i was very sad that day because i slept for such a long time

Nice post my friend, Its healthy to sleep 7 to 8 hours a day but in our generation its impossible to happen. in my own experience, I am too busy with my work and sometimes I don't sleep at all. Also I beleive others also do the same specially those people who loves night life. Many says that only the young people needs to sleep 7 to 8 hours a day.

I always go to bed at 10:30 and get up at 6:30 next morning.but I ususlly wakes early.so I can sleep well .however.I can't get a siesta everyday.it's a puzzle things to me .how can improve it?

Siesta means have a sleep after lunch or at noon.I can't sleep well at that time.however.I can go to dreamland as a short time .maybe I am very tired without a siesta.

I sleep for about 6 to 7 hours. Sometime I also do take power nap of about 10 minutes after I get back from work. For adults I feel its enough to get refreshed provided one gets good sleep.

I sleep usually about 5 hours a night. Sometimes less and sometimes more. If I have a week of less than 5 hours of sleep a night I might actually sleep for 7 hours.

Hi, Thanks for the response, now adays because of our busy work, we only sleep 5 to 6 hours. same as me, sometimes i only sleep 3 hours if we have a lot of costumer in our shop. you now adays everything is expensive, so we need to work hard to support our living.

I normally sleep for six or seven hours in normal day (without any additional works to do). If I have to stay very late at night, I sleep for two or three hours. It's sad that the two or three hours sleep is now my habbits because of income restrain...

well the medications i am on are really strong, usually they keep me asleep for about 10 - 12 hours if i just wait to wake up naturally, which is what i usually do unless i need to be up early, so i usually sleep about 10-12 hours

Thats a very interesting question. you know what, sometimes i sleep more than 8 hours and sometimes less. Its tricky because we're not always in control of the time we wake up. On the days that I dont work early, I get up anytime. Then theres times when I have to use an alarm clock to wake me up, and it result in 8 hour less of sleep...so ya, its tricky.

Hi Marlon, Thanks for the response, yes you are right, sometimes we aew not always in control of our time to wake up, because there are time we need to wake up so early, then there are times that we can sleep longer. it is just depend on our busy days. thank you and have a nice day. keep smiling

hi there! yeah, most of the time since im currently working, i spent 6 to 7 hours of sleep everyday and i would say that im satisfied with the amount of sleep of sleep i had.,that will give me enough strength to work for a day.

Not enough most nights. I'd say I average about 1/2 of that. Which isn't enough. But there are some nights I get more than that. I maybe catch a nap once a week.

I sleep about 7 hours a night. I usually need a bit more, though. I feel best when I get 9 to 10 hours depending on how active I am during the day. in college I got only 6 and I had to take frequent naps to stay alert in class.

I am a night owl so I only get cat nap here and there. The kids are up in durning the day so no time for sleep. I became this way because I have nightmares at night and have grown acustom to it.
