i'm a twenty-one year old young mom of a healthy nine-moth old baby boy. yes, it's shocking that i am already a mom at such a very young age. well, my life was just ordinary when i was still a teen. but then, fate has tooked 360 degree turn when i found out that i was concieving. it's a little apprehensive at first, but then apprehension was gradually turning into elation when i held my baby in my arms. plus the fact that my boyfriend, who is now my live-in partner never turned his back on us. i admit, it's a little hard on my part that i was sometimes late for my work because i have to pacify my baby every morning, or that sometimes i sleep late at night whenever he has tantrums attack if he feels sleepy. yes, the role of a mom is N-E-V-E-R a joke. and that eXXXaggerating care and protection that my mom gives me is, well, not at all exaggeration. i just realized it recently when i have my own to protect to. i love my role of being a mom. it's crazy. but the feeling is just too overwhelming to keep!*thank you Lord*

Hello, I'm so glad you love being a mother - it is truly a blessing to have healthy children! I got married when I was 19, had my first child at 21, my second at 22, and my third at 25. Wow time flies by! I've always appreciated and loved my kids! I'm so glad you are appreciating every moment with your child & that your partner is there for you!

i totally understand your feelings here. i'm similar to you as well. i'm a mother of 2 age 23. grins but mine was arranged marriage so in that area we're different. also, i'm a full stay at home mom so i guess i'm better off than you there. my younger is going on 3 months this month. but i definitely understand your problems of pacifying the baby, and late nights. it was that way with my son, the older one, and he was even more problematic than my son at that age. when i first held my firstborn in my arms, i was overwhelmed by what i was feeling too. i just couldn't describe it in words. i too love my role as well and hope that my kids will turn out fine and hope they do well in their future.

Looks like you are being a good mom! Isn't it interesting how appreciative we become of how our moms took care of us only after we have become moms ourselves? Enjoy your bundle of joy;)
