What is your opinion on long distance relationships? DO you think that it takes more effort on both persons to make it work or do you believe it has certain advantages?

Long distance relationships do take a lot of effort. It is hard to live apart and go on with the day to day activities, when you want nothing more than to be with the one you love. It is easy to let your longing cause interference with your life. It is also easy to feel overly sensitive and easily hurt by your partner, because they are not here. You do have to have faith in your feelings toward each other. You have to have faith that what you are hoping for will be worth a certain amount of heart ache until you can be together. It is tough, I do not see any advantage to long distance relationships.

Every relationship has it's up and down. For a relationship to work each individual has to put in enough effort so whether it is long distance or nearby you have to work on it. Relationship is all about love, respect, communication and compromising so if you are contemplating in going in one just remember these four main ingredients.
