Turn Signals

Do you always use your turn signal when driving? I usually do, but not when there is no one behind me. Is it actually illegal if there is no one behind you?

I always use the signal, whether someone is there or not. It's such a habit for me, I just can't help it.

I've caught myself using a turn signal to pull in my driveway that is on a dirt road out in the country and no one was behind me! It does become a habit - but that's a good habit at least.
