I think it is senseable to buy a Small Car, I say this because of the High Gas prices. If you are going to buy a New one or a Used one. Get a small car. The big Cars are definely Gas Guzzlers. do you agree?

I totally agree. We have a full size truck, ranger, explorer sport and a 89 bronco. The ranger is the easiest on gas and it still cost 70.00 every 3 days for my husband to go to work. Its crazy.

marcia, I am not planning on buying a car. I finally got mine payed off. I will drive it until the tires fall off. But there is no way I would ever buy a suv or any large car right now, not with gas prices the way they are.I have a small car now, it is all I need, it is comfortable, reliable and very easy on gas.People are now trying to down size and can not even get half of what there suv's are worth.People are saying that gas will go up to $8.00 a gallon befor this is all over with.I once saw a lot of Hunmmers on the road, do not see them any longer..Well no gas guzzler for me, I can spend my money elsewere!!I don't want to give all my money to those oil companys, so it will be a small economical car for me!

We are not going to buy a new car anytime soon. We have enough bills right now. We cannot afford any more payments. We already have a car and a truck and they are both finally paid for now. I hate debts. We don't really go to very many places anyway so thank God that we do not have to pay these high gas prices. My husband works close to home now too. I am so glad that I can work from home and do not have to travel.

I paln to when my baby leaves for college next year. I want a new one that is small and ecomonical. I desire a hybrid or electric car. Gas guzzlers cost too much and have a gas guzzler tax to boot, I definitely cannot afford one. Can't wait to see what I'll end up with.

I feel any Petrol/Diesel driven cars are going to be Gas guzzlers. With rising fuel prices it is definitely going to affect us no matter what size of car we buy.I feel the best thing is to buy Electricity driven cars as they are environment friendly in addition to saving us money.

In the present admosphire of increase in the Crude oil price, it is always better to avoid the Four wheeler and the Two wheeler purchase.. Because due to the Crude oil price increases, every country will increase the petroleum product prices, in our country (India) also now the Petrol price has been increased to Rs.5/-. This is more than 10% of the existing rate.. In the past couple of years, the petroleum products prices has been increased for several times.. so far.. If this will continue, who will be intrested to use the Car and Bike..?? We are actually looking for a alternate fuel.. for our existing vehicle.. else we are all planning to sell our vehicle at good rate.. So, according to me, this is not a right time to buy the new vehicle which will be run under the petroleum products like petrol/diesel etc..

The only kind of new car I could afford right now is a Hot Wheel car. It would have to be on sale too, hehe. I have a gas guzzler, it doesn't go too much. I wish I had the money to park my car, (its a classic) and get another more economical car. Oh well, maybe some day.

I just recently bought a new car this year. My husband and I picked a small car that gets really good gas mileage. It was really important to us to get something small so that we wouldn't be spending any more on gas than we absolutely have to. With the prices the way they are right now, that was probably our number one priority when it came to picking out the car we were going to buy.

Big cars and trucks are definitely hard on gas. I will be getting a different car, definitely very used, but I haven't decided what yet. I'm sure it will be a little car because that's what I prefer, even before gas got so out of control. I may possibly just fix s/o's other truck that got wrecked but that will take a while and I really just need a car now...it's already been a month without.

We are hoping to get a new car soon. Just have to save up for the deposit, but shouldn't take long to do. We require a big car. It has to have at least 7 seats, and even then, that would only fit myself, my partner and our kids. Not being the type of people who are out and about all the time, we aren't too worried about the cost of filling our car. Usually, it is only used to do the school run and the shopping. Yes, we have a very sad life! lol.
