How do you guys think the Browns will do this upcoming season? We have a tougher schedule, but a more talented and experienced team.

i think the cleveland browns should have a great year. but as you said... the tough schedule could be a limiting factor. but... they have a good qb in derek anderson... and good running back in jamal lewis(former tennessee vol i might add), and some impressive wide recievers. but their defense is average at best... so i think if they can improve their defense... they can have a legit shot at a super bowl

It comes down to two things in my opinon. Keeping everybody healthy, if Winslow can make it all season it would be a huge help for the Browns. And if Anderson was a fluke or not. If he is the real deal at quarterback, the they should finish 11-5 and make the playoffs.

I don't want to put up any expectations because each time that happens, it ends up in failure. They might be a playoff team but let's hope they can do something positive. The city of Cleveland needs someone to root and not have a season of failure. I want to see them make the playoffs. The schedule may look tougher but it's how the teams play that will make the difference. On paper it looks tough but at the end of the day, it's about performance.
The Browns were very agressive in the free agent market, something I've never seen. I will commend them for attempting to improve the team but the only thing that will matter will be the end result. I'm more of a results person than just go by on paper.

I'm pretty excited about this upcoming season. I don't think they are quite Super Bowl quality quite yet. They could be a playoff team though. The schedule is definitly a tough one. Opening up with the Cowboys will be a great test. I already have a bet set with my Cowboys friends. That will be an interesting day. I'm also excited to see how the pick ups in the off season do. I really hope our defense improved with the addition of the linebackers and front line. I'm afraid the upgrades were a bit too minor. It was a productive off-season overall. We will see how the whole Anderson/Quinn thing works out too. I really hope Anderson didn't have the year of his life last year and slack off now. With so many offensive weapons I am not worried about scoring points. Its really gonna come down to defense. I can't wait till kick-off!
Go Brownies!
