If you have a computer which is hardwired to a printer and a laptop computer which is wireless but on the same network-can you connect this laptop to the printer or enable the laptop to print to this computer?

yes, the thing you need is have them all in the same network. For this you need a router so you can connect the printer to, and when is connected you can make your pc and laptop find it by going to: control panel hardware and sound printers add printer add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer. Or just find the way your pc will search for a network printer. This is a very cool way of having your printer setup, I had it once and I loved it.

This way seems much easier, but how do I connect my Printer to my router? The printer is not wireless and does not have an ethernet port to connect to my router? Thank You for responding.

I just plug my printer into my laptop. Seems a whole lot easier than messing with all that wireless garbage. I'm waiting for my student loan to buy one of the new wireless printers...than it will be easy peasy!!
