Which team will lift the trophy?

EURO 2008 has just started . . .who will be european champions this time? I'd say it will be Portugal. What do you say?

Before italy's worldwide shame yesterday against the Netherlands I would have said italy is the favourite but since it seems that, as usual, Italy can't have an easy life (it's a typical tradition that italy needs to have a harsh life in the group stage in order to go ahead and win...), my guess would be that either the Netherlands, Czech or Portugal could be winners.

Hey shamsta19, my money is also on Portugal, they are definitely championship material. My final would be Portugal vs Netherlands.

With the play they exhibited today, The Netherlands does look good. Though I'm still pulling for Ronaldo and the Portuguese.

Italy was smacked 3-0, or maybe you missed that match. With that type of play they will be lucky to reach the quarter finals.

It's hard to say. Netherland have shown us its strength yesterday.Maybe it can be very well this year.I don't think Italy will lift the trophy. Portugal is also big and powerful..I like C.Ronaldo.
