Why are we as women constantly being scrutinized by men?

By no means am I a male basher but I think if I see one more half naked woman selling a watch I will hurl. I mean, do you guys have to sell everything with a half naked woman? Does anyone other than me think that this contributes to men feeling women are objects and not humans and therefore dehumanize them during rape? Its logical right?I then one day my boyfriend is singing some song called "lick it like a lollipop" I asked to hear it and by the second verse I nearly made a hole in his dashboard by pounding it with my fist ( I was so pissed).
I work at an elementary school...these girls believe that this music is intended for them but really its intended for their male counterparts to maintain their domination over women by embaressing them and objectifying every chance they get.
Well... I am freakin' sick of it. So now I tell women...Please don't degrad yourself by being with a guy that listens to or accepts "catcalling" (whistling, leering, commenting on women's figures, etc.) any other form of female torture and embaressment and show men who really has the power, we do. Now we just have to take it back.

It's enfuriating isn't it? I've become much more sensitive to it now that I have a boyfriend. I hate the fact that women are trying to tempt my guy with their bodies to get him to buy stuff. I'm not going to place blame solely on either gender because both should be ashamed of themselves for equally perpetuating it. I think it has to stop, but I know it never will.

This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I date mostly women. It just makes me sick every time I see a commercial with girls somehow getting soaked and rubbing up against each other. I can listen to some rap music, but a lot of it does seem to be terribly chauvinistic and greed-based. I'm not saying that other genres don't also participate (a certain Buckcherry song comes to mind rather quickly), but it does seem like a lot of rap music is just absurd. And then, to sell a shave gel to men, there must be women spraying one another in white foam and wearing short shorts.
