hi, many of people don't know how to repair a PC. Most of them just sent to the PC Shop or buy a new one after old PC have a problem. My question is, how many of u here know how to repair your pc by yourself and where u learn to do that.

I'd much rather get a new PC because sometimes the repair costs are just a bit too much.

I usually repair my pc, if its software or hardware and it just comes from cumulative experience. There is almost no need to take them to repair shops anymore (do it as a last resort) as there are numerous online pc forms that are willing to help you if you tell them your problem.

I've been repairing my own PCs since Junior High. Can't exactly remember how I learnt that, but I guess it's from observing other people do it. Hey, if other people can do it, why can't I? That and experience over the years have made me able to pinpoint almost all sources of problems on the PC when they occur.

Well if my lap top goes wrong i haven't got a clue what to do. I normally just send it for repair as i have a monthly repair plan for it, so far been lucky and only minor things wrong. last problem was a power one, lept getting small electric shocks when i picked it up, also had some extra memory put in it. I think being a laptop makes itharder to repair at home. with a tower its easier to pull apart.
