Qualities To Make Money

Napoleon Hill had a quest to find out why some people are rich and others are not.
I personally think it is amazing to see some people who really had no chance of becoming wealthy finally achieve it. History is littered with rich people who didn't finish school or who have terrible physical, social or other disabilities becoming rich. Something draws them to success despite the odds against them.
So my question today is:
What qualities do you think are the most important to becoming wealthy?

The willingness to keep going in the face of great odds certainly ranks up there as one of the important qualities for those who want to become wealthy. The story of Thomas Edison failing a thousand times before finally getting the light bulb right is an inspiration. And I believe it is Hill that tells a story about a miner who quit just a few feet short of striking a huge amount of silver or gold. The miner sold his equipment to a junkyard owner, and then the junkyard owner - with a little bit of research - went back to the same location and struck it rich. The failed miner went into selling insurance, and used that instance of having quit too early to press himself on to an incredible career and wealth in the insurance industry. I don't think it's a matter of being lucky; I think it's more a matter of being willing to keep going in spite of the odds and being willing to look for ways to succeed in spite of the deck that's stacked against you.

Thanks also.
Again I totally agree. I know many people laughed at me when I said I was going to start a small school teaching people how to create more money. Sometimes I wondered if I was doing the right thing.
But then I saw a quote from the Declaration Of Independence which read:
"Those who have the ability to help have the responsibility to help"
Powerful words. do have the ability and so I keep going. Maybe to some it is funny that I try, but to those people who become my students, its not funny. They make money and are very happy.
How can anyone give up when so much is at stake. Thank you for taking the time to answer. I appreciate it so very much.
Be abundant.

Your story (a small school teaching people how to create money) sounds like the story of a host of online infopreneurs, but I wish you the best (and it sounds like you have met with some success in your venture).
Anytime someone starts something new, I think there is that nagging question about whether it will fly, whether it will be successful, or whether the whole thing will simply crash and burn. What people don't realize is that we can learn just as much (if not more) from our failures as we can from our successes; the key, of course, is not simply to give up after you fail, but to take the lessons learned, make those changes, and press on.

I don't have much experience yet to share about this matter but for my opinion, having the right attitude with every situation will also make you wealthy. There are people who are one day millionnaires and this attitude is not really good. happy go lucky as we say, after spending all their earnings nothing is left and its back to zero. having a good working attitude and determination to go on no matter what is also a good quality. I am still young but its like business is really what I like so I started a business two years ago about making and selling fancy jewelries. It was doing well, but I need to stop for awhile because my mom believes I need to use my education. Now I am following her wishes but soon as I have proven to her that I will prosper more in the business world, I will continue it again. I never totally stop though so when i come back there is still something it I will have.
Another quality should be a win-win personality and a dreamer. Never stops. Can rest but don't stop take care =)

Thank you for your reply.
Following your dream is a major part of success. It can be difficult to do so when there are people in your life who love you and want you to do something else and sometimes compromise is in order to keep things smooth, but I think that because they love you they will also trust you to make the right decisions and also to support you in what you are doing if you stand your ground.
I hope that you find you success with your little business and can inspire others to do the same.

A hard worker with positive thinking and persistence always get to the top.

Thank you for replying.
I also agree hard work and persistence works. They are a great combination. It doesn't matter what you do, but always do it the best.
This will be rewarded eventually by the Universe. I totally believe this. I would rather hire staff from within my own company who work really hard and loyally than a newcomer who has a great resume of qualifications, but isn't prepared to be part of a team.
Thanks for taking part.
