Some people's discussion topics just tick me off!!!

Sometimes I get so agitated with what the person said, usually because it is pure ignorance. They have no idea what they are talking about and it seems to me they are just trying to start something so they think they will get alot of responses. I refused to respond to a particular discussion, as I didn't wish to "support" this ignorant manchild. While I really, really wanted to speak my mind, I decided not to bother. I read all his comments to the responses and he just kept up his ignorant ways. I am fuming right now and I just need to blow off a little, okay a lot of steam!
I took it personally because he was referring to a group of people that I proudly belong. I knew I would say irrational things if I posted. I would have lost my temper, something I try not to do, because when I do....well it isn't pretty!!!
Did you ever just get so ticked off at a topic that you didn't respond to it?

I couldn't agree with you more.
We have people from different backgrounds and different levels of knowledge.

I get annoyed with ignoarant people in general. The kind who have no real reason to put others down, just because they weren't held as a child, lol. You shouldn't let them get to you because it's only adding fuel to the fire, per se. I think it's best to sit back and watch them make fools out of themselves. If you give in to their ignorance, then they've achieved what they wanted in the first place.

There really are discussion topics that irritate me. Some of this topics relate to religion. I understand that people have different views and it's really great to have myLot. myLot is a good venue for us to share our different views. However, there are some instances when some people rub it off as if you were that dumb.

Yes, it happens that way to me too! I try to keep it positive and if that means not responding, then that is what it means! I know some discussions end up getting deleted anyway so you do have to be careful what you respond to! Do not take the bait!

Well, I only respond to the ones I can relate to. But on the same note that is what MyLot is all about. Speaking your mind, even if some people don't really have much of a brain to begin with. But it is a free way to express yourself without any consequences. Don't get mad GET GLAD :)
