Millions of people all over the world do love listening to and playing music. Some are more gifted in this area, like those who are able to play musical instruments such as drums, cymbals, tambourines, guitars, violins, harp, piano, organ, harmonica, and others which I can't recall at the moment. My siblings know how to play the piano, harmonica, and guitar. But personally, I don't play any of these musical instruments. But eventhough I'm not gifted in this field, I still consider myself as a music lover.
Like you, I also love listening to music even at an early age. I believe that even if I don't play any musical instrument, I'm still a music lover simply because I do love music. In particular, I like songs which are soft and smooth, soothing the ears. I love listening to folk and country, light rock, jazz, reggae, and love songs more compared to rock music which I feel are vexations to the spirit. No offense meant for people who prefer and love this type of music but this is just my own opinion.

I recently realized why I have always loved classic rock SO much (70's rock)well I remembered that at the age of 7 I was going through some tough times. (Foster home, physical abuse etc.) and what kept me company was my little AM radio I would hide under my pillow and listen to it at night. I remember the first song I ever heard was "I cant tell you why" by The Eagles. Since then I have obviously developed a taste for classical music jazz and others but this memory will stay with me FOREVER
