Dear Nielle,
Have you ever tried Homeopathy? It can cure you completely of the pains and cramps. I have also had this when I was young and my grandpa got me out completely.
See if there is a homeopathic physician nearby your place or go and visit the site

you can find a doctor from your place .
or you can get treatment online through
http://www.hpathy.com
these medicines have no after effects and so you need not get upset about that.

About the best thing you can do is Ibuprofen, and rest during periods Nielle. There are other medical procedures that can be done if the condition worsens. Your Dr. will know best, but taking ibuprofen when needed is not a bad thing.

Its a very common phenomenon in working women. I think you should not worry about it. The cause is unexplainable. You can take some pain killers, they case no harm for you.

This discussion was written three days ago, so it means your dysmenorrhea is gone by now, right?I hope so. Now, it's my turn, I am here in front of my PC,I can't even walk to the restroom because of the terrible pain yet I can't even go home because my boss is still around. One advice though (I should take this advice too!), exercise really helps, I had proven that too many times but then the past few weeks I wasn't able to get any exercise, that why I'm suffering now.Try exercise!
