Does it really get better in time?

I think what happens is that you learn to deal with it better in time. But then i am one of those that once i love someone will always love them and has to learn to deal with loving someone that is no longer in my life. I always think back on them with fondness and an ache in my heart.

I strongly agree that a broken heart will be amended in time. It is not easy to forget someone nor the times you shared in a relationship together. It involves everything you have to build it and it takes everything in your life when lost it. Take one step at a time. Do not isolate yourself just to forget the feeling and the failed relationship. Go out and have fun. You will know that you are already healed if you think of your ex but the hurt is no longer... cheers!!!

I believe that time heals. I was in such situation when my heart was broken and I needed a lot of time to get better. Though it hurts even now the pain is not so strong. Just some kind of sadness.

It hurts getting your heart broken and you do think that you will never get over the pain of lossing that special someone. Time well heal and you will get back on board and maybe meet someone else that you connect to. I have had a broken heart, it isn't much fun but family and friends got me through it and I have now been in a relationship for 5 years with my special partner. So yes life will go on for you.
