difference between school friends and college friends

I think we are very different people when dealing with school friends than when dealing with college friends. We typically are a little more carefree and focussed on our immediate life, be it friends, fun, activities, etc., when we are in high school. In college, I think on the psyche level, we begin to realize that the friends we now associate with can acctually be a part of the future person we are becoming. This may cause us to be a little more guarded with our college friends but also a little more realistic about what friends really mean to our life.

In my case, I am closer and have maintained constant communication with my High School friends. Eventhough most of them are in far way places already, I still get in touch with them through constant emailing, internet chatting, etc. I've always kept in touch with them despite the differences in our interests which led to our separation when we went to college. But we would always get together during breaks so we keep each other updated with what's going on in our lives.

There is no general difference rule between college and school friends, it depends on each friend indivudually. Still the following is what I can say. 1: School friends share toys and other stuff that they like, college friends share narcotics so that you have a good time. 2: School friends come to sleep over at your house, college freinds talk you into not sleeping at your own home. 3: Your parents know your school freinds very well, and your parents don't even know us when in college.
