What kind of discussion will give me lots of responces?

I guess people are most interested in discussions where opinions are sought, whether it is a personal experience or just a general opinion on something. Just as long as there is a question in your discussion, it should garner some response. Just make sure the question is understandable and dones't require much knowledge on the topic, because people tend to stay away from too "technical" discussions. Based on my own personal experience, my discussion that garnered the most responses was one where I shared my personal experience of failing an exam and asked mylot members about what I should do. In this case, giving encouragement or advice isn't too hard for someone to give, hence more people will tend to respond. I hope this is useful to you too in planning for your future discussions!
