Is it bad to move often with your children, even within the same general area? Why is stability valued so much as as part of childhood. I stay in one place years for my children. It has never been important to me to live in one spot. In fact, I'm easily bored by staying in the same place. I often wonder how our childhood shapes the way we live our life more than we think. The way we grew up sets the tone of what we believe we should do. I always felt like I lived out of a paper bag. Oh I went to the same school, but I laid my head whereever I happened to be and was fine that way. Unfortunately, my children act like I'm pulling teeth to move across the freeway because they have to change schools, not the district, just immediate friends. I go out of my way to take them to see the friends often, but the one change I can't make is where my business is located. I have a lease. I also have 2 rental houses across the freeway, as I didn't wait to sell to buy. Do any of you find that is an unusual way to live? In fact, after a year hear, I feel the need to start looking. I am looking to move the business too, as soon as the lease is up. I'v been looking. Is this just the way I am or is it conditioning?
