Which messengher you use the most

Yes in this age of internet and fierce competition, distances between peopl ehave grown. to combat that technology has provided us the solutions in the form of instant chats, emails and video conferencing.
one of those things is the instant messengers. There are quite af ew good ones in the market right now; like Google talk, yahoo messenger, msn messenger, rediff bol etc. and international users may use AOL and Skype too. So what are your opinions about them. whom do you all find better on basis of the simplicity, activity sharing and feature wise??

I use three messengers, yahoo messenger msn messenger and Gtalk. I have a lot of friends, and no one uses the same messenger so I have to use all these messengers.

Oh.. i dont use rediffbol, but i use gtalk and yahoo messengers..
i like yahoo more. because it has great features..
So which do you feel the best?????
do you use web based messengers too like meebo, iLoveIm etc..??
i used to use meebo. but i stopped using it..

I also like yahoo messenger the most. Msn dosen't sign's in if your connection is a bit down and Gtalk is just too simple. Yahoo messegner is just right with everything in it, and most of all the chatrooms. With the chatrooms getting bored is almost impossible.

yes you are right. that was a good analysis of the different messnegers you did. i too love yahoo very much. its like if i dont have a yahoo messenger on te pc i use, i download it instantly. And did you download the recent one.. version 9 beta ???

I use the yahoo messenger whenever i need to. I dont have any other account. I have been using one account for the past 7 years. And i seldom chat over the net. Whenever i do i use yahoo because i feel it easy to use. Since i have been using it for so long its obvious to feel easy. And especially when other of my friends use it too its quite natural you see.

this means you get on hooked up to a particular messenger just bcoz your friend is using it. and since most of friend suse it you use it too??
Is this what you are trying to say. This means you didnt look into the features the messenger had but since your friends are on the messenger you use that one. This is the biggest disadvantage Gtalk and Rediff bol has. Since Yahoo messenger strated out early, many people used it and hence by referring others and making up giant friends list on that, new friends to statr usign yahoo too.

But i had tried it once and it had asked for payment and credit card details. so i stopped using it. May be i was about to use the calling feature. May be that requires payment??

i usually use gtalk to talk to my friends,
And i use Yahoo messenger to make new friends,
Now i am thinking to try more messengers,
the most simple one is gtalk!

ya. gtalk has more good voice call feature. yahoo is not too bad either.
If you wanna try some more i sever yuouggest try msn, rediff and AOL messenger. and remember its your wish to use whatever you like. we all here just suggest each other. adn discuss the ifs and buts, dos and donts, boons and banes of the different messengers...

I use yahoo messenger most often...its actually very simple and a lot of friends of mine are on yahoo ....but most of all i think that its just the simplicity which yahoo has ....yahoo being the first ...is one of the pioneer...in internet marketing and working for the over all benefit of the users....all around the world...

yes thats right. yahoo is one of the pioneers in internet chat division. it has made millions in this business. its bcoz it has many firsts in this business. yesterday it just launched its verion 9 beta for testing purposes. i have downloaded it and used it. it looks great. and for the first time it has some greta cool themes too..

I am using yahoo messenger. It is easy to use. My most of friends are using the same yahoo messenger so it is very easy to communicate with them.Yahoo provides good informations to users. It provides good services to the users.

i agree with your opinion , vinod, that Yahoo does provide the users a very friendly and simple to use featured messenger. but still is there any room for improvement in its messenger?? what do you think??
i will like to see some responses to this ?
bcoz i feel messengers like gtalk and rediffbol are coping up with the features which yahoo is providing. so int his competition what else can give Yahoo that exclusive and elusive edge over its competitors. Do you have any suggestions??
