What is your interpretation of Yin and Yang?

there isnt really once explanation or one interpretation of Yin & Yang, there are many... I study & teach Chinese Kung Fu & Tai Chi and was interested to get other peoples views and interpretations of what it means to them. Try avoid things like "Black & White", "Good & Bad", "Positive & Negative", etc etc...these are the most obvious, i want deeper interpretations ;)

yin and yang is positive and negatif. Maybe... is for hot and cold. maybe up and down.
maybe man and women. that is life.... love... and existance of the world.

Well in a way and depending on who is looking at it..As stated there are many diffrent reasons.My Husband and I both have tats of a ying yang and to us it meant to hearts one soul..but there is more meanings I do have behind it.
