It is courteous indeed to respond to the replies received by the initiator of a discussion. I got hurt really when found few friends did not pay any heed to the matter at all. What's the harm? You are being rewarded for the responses you make rather. So, all my wonderful friends, please be courteous and keep responding to the Replies you receive.

I understand your point perfectly. It really wouldn't hurt to just reply to the comments on your discussion. It wouldn't be much more of a discussion anywhere if there is very minimal interaction. Well, we have to accept the fact that some people do tend to neglect other people and are just a tad too selfish to reply. It's like, hey, they made a cent. I'm done.
We can't force them though. That's what they don't want to do. Let's leave them at that. Just take care of your real good friends here. You'll feel happier and so will they.
