I've recently been applying to a lot of third shift jobs as I prefer staying up late and sleeping in the morning better as most of the time when I hang out with friends it's early afternoon anyways! So what time do you think I would actually be waking up if I was to finally get hired by one? I think most of the one's I applied at generally end at 6-7am, so my thought is i'll sleep in till' about 2-3pm, is that a reasonable assumption? Orrr. Am I way off? =O

It all depends on how much physical activity is involve, and how many hours you're working. I work third shift, and every shift is at least 10 hours, sometimes shifts are longer, up to 18 hours if I work overtime. My job is also usually physically demanding. Usually I get off work at 8, and I don't get to sleep until 9. I'mm wake up anywhere between 4-6 if it's been a ten hour day. However, if I worked 18 hours, I sleep pretty much all day, and into the next day. Hope this helps.
