Come share your love stories... do you experienced fall in love with you chatter friend? How far is you love? do you still love your chatter lover?

LOL I can't help laughing when I read about people pretending that they fell in love with chatting. You can't fall in love before you actually meet a person. Until then you are just in love with the idea of a person.

i have experience my self once. I met a girl in the internet. we chat in the chatting room for around 1 year. we learn about each other in the chat room.
after 1 year chatting with her, i start to fall in love with her. She also felt the same way.
one day we decide to have a blind date. we met and we really fall in love with each other.
I continue our relation ship for more than 3 years before she decide to further her study in France.
that is when we decide to stop loving each other.
But for me fall in love in the chatting room are possible base on my own experience

I have never fallen in love chatting. Actually, I don't befriend people over chat. Most of the people that I talk with through Yahoo Messenger or Skype are people I know in real life -- others are people related to work, whom I have never met in person but have to interact with in order to finish certain tasks.
Like your first respondent, I do not believe that true love can emerge through mere chat relationship. People may "fall in love" but this is merely a feeling of attraction, but not "true love". For "true love" to exist, there has to be enough experiences shared with each other for each to know each other more and therefore grow as individuals and as a couple.

Yeah...i fell in love with somebody on the net through chatting. I didn't have a chance to see his face...but I fell in love with him anyway. It's been going on for about 6 months...until he admitted to me that he is a married guy and turning
45 years old. It broke my heart and until now i never chatted on yahoo again.

I have never fallen in love with a chatmate before. I don't think I'm the type who would :) I prefer being real friends with people that I meet in person because there are a lot of deception going on on the net.
However, I do chat with most of my real friends. Chat is how we connect with each other even though we're busy at work or are provinces away :)
