The best free antivirus right now?

I've always used Adaware. It seems to have kept me in good shape. I'm also looking to try Avast, which is another free anti virus program. I think there are some other ones out there but I dont know any other ones.

Well, I would say in my part using Norton Anti Virus cuz I would know you can download free updates on the latest virus names. I'm not so sure about at your country that is. As for me here at my country, I'm using Mcafee Anti Virus cuz of all anti virus, this one last longer. Infact, it removes all known viruses for as long as it is up to date. The Superdat files are free at the web, if you know where to look for. I do recommend this Antivirus to most of my friends who asks me the same thing you asked. Hope this helps your inquiry.

I do not know what's the best but I have used a few freewares before and I like them all. You can try AVAST and AVG. Both are pretty good.

Hey friend as far as my knowledge is concerned i think the best FREE antivirus available is Avast. Also try AVG,Avs, too.I would recconn u all these three asnd scan them ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK with the latest updates versions

From my experiance I would definetely recomend avast it's really easy to use has a good real time protection and updates automatically twice a day :D I find it much better than avg. But I've heard really good things on nod32 so maybe it would be a good idea to try that too.
