What just happened?

The last episode I caught was when Foreman said he was giving House 2 weeks notice because he didn't want to end up like House. Now, House has a reality tv show-ish episode of him looking for a new team..How many did I miss??! Last time I checked the team of Foreman, Chase and Cameron, whose teamwork I've come to love, was still putting up with House--his rudeness, the unusual and occasionally unethical way of solving their cases- now House is looking for replacements?
Can anybody fill me in on what happened, when it happened, HOW it happened?
My week is simply not complete without a dose of House, cheesy, I know. But you gotta love that series. And I don't wanna be kept in the dark why things have ended up that way.

After Foreman gave his notice, House fired Chase (I can't remember why) and Cameron quit also. Foreman got a job at another hospital and Cameron and Chase are working in different departments at Princeton-Plainsboro. This all was at the end of last season and beginning of this season. After the first few episodes this year Foreman ended up coming back because he was fired from his other job, he blames this on House's bad influence. Foreman becomes like the leader of House's team and House fires most of those others within the first few episodes leaving him with Foreman and three other team members. Cameron and Chase continue popping up throughout the season but are not part of House's team.
I also enjoyed the show more with the originial team. I am still hoping it will end up back that way eventually.

Yup, I did miss a whole lot of episodes. Tsk, tsk. Hope they'll have a marathon so I can catch up. I've managed to catch the first episodes of the new season. Although it was already the man vs. woman team that I saw. I'm still trying to catch that episode of the original team being broken up though.

These events happened after that. From what you have said it seems like you missed most of this season. In the season opener House had no team and Cuddy was trying to force him to hire one. The first half of this season House is gradually eliminating about 20 people that he started with.

I know, I'll certainly miss their teamwork. Hope the new team can live up to them. Dr. 13, eh? I'll keep an eye out for that one. Thanks, acyl.

ive seen the episode last night and i havent got the focus on it because im doing myLot while watching it..
but i think another patient (brown woman) is trying to be diagnosed with the help of House' elements (the new team).
im looking forward if they will replay it tonight..

i`ma buy a dvd to it if i'll make up money..

I'm not very good at multi-tasking either, killerpinx. That's why I prefer dropping everything when I'm watching House. =p Although I resume playing on my ds lite during commercial breaks. ^^
He calls the recruits elements?! haha..
That makes two of us, I just hope I can save enough to buy a complete season dvd. Thanks, killerpinx

Yeah, that's also one of the episodes I'm looking forward to. I just hope I don't miss that one.
