I have traveled over 10,000 miles. When I was 20 years old I traveled around the world. My route was London-Los Angles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide overland Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. So the furthest away place I went to on that trip would be Sydney. I traveled even further away when I went on my trip to New Zealand when I was 29 years old. On that wonderful trip my route was London-Los Angeles-French Polynesia-Cook Islands-Auckland-Christchurch overland Auckland-Samoa-Los Angeles-London. The furthest away place I went to on that trip was Dunedin on the south island of New Zealand.

The longest trip I've ever taken within our country was about 1250 miles. This was from close to the middle of the country on the southern edge to the middle of the eastern coast.
The only time I've been out of the country was much shorter. This was a long time ago, before anyone thought of demanding a passport just to go across the border a mile or so into a neighboring country.

I think I travelled about 3,000 miles when my mother, grandfather and I went to Denmark in 1990
