I always get regular. I've been told that unless your cars manufacturer specifically tells you that your car must have the higher octane fuels, that all cars run just as well on the regular as they do on the more expensive. I was even told once by a pontiac dealer not to put the higher octane gas in their cars. He said it would mess up the oxygen sensor in the gas tank.

I always get regular, that's all my car calls for in the owner's manual so why pay the higher price?

I read something a couple months ago about how higher grade gas does nothing for a car other than if the car's engine requires a higher quality grade. The gas does not last longer based on quality. You are simply paying for quality not length or burning time.
