Dogs do the darnest thigs

My dog has a favorite toy. If you start playing with him with a differnt toy, he will go outside find the toy he likes, scratch on the door to come in and stand around with it until you play with him. If he had a huge basket in here with 15 toys, I'm sure he would pick that one.

Was at the beach last weekend after midnight and me and my friends met a big golden retriever with no owner around so we figured he was lost. He kept swimming out to the same spot in the lake and then he'd swim back to us on shore like he wanted us to follow him. Also in the the same spot we watched this dog 'dive' underwater at the same spot like he was searching for something. We all thought it was rather odd and figured maybe his owner may have drowned or something so we called the police and told them about the dog and that it may be nothing but it did seem odd for this dog on his own to keep swimming to the same area and diving his head under the water all in the same area looking for something. When the police showed up (6 cars and 8 constables) the shone their spots and searchlights onto the water where the dog kept going. Finally the dog comes out of the water with a friggin stick in his mouth. He was looking for a stick... :| We all laughed our heads off and one of the officers took the dog home for the weekend so he could get dog control to find the owner on monday. Yeesh, I have never seen a dog do that before.
