friendship or love...?

how do you tell someone you are close with for so many years that your not interested without making the friendship awkward or uncomfortable after the otehr person has expressed intimate feelings towads you? Well, i could use some advice on this because my close friend for 10 years has just informed me that her now has feelings for me and i honestly dont know what to say. I think he is wonderful, its just that i dont want to risk teh friendship. But again i am single and who knows he could be the ONE. We have benn through alot and been there for each other.But i am afarin if it doesn't work out what hapen to teh friendship. And well i know its sounds a simple solution but its not....ANYWAYS...any advice is welcome...

All love and relationship started out from being friends.. Since u two have been thru thick and thin together, it shows that the two of u understand each other well enough and that can support each other no matter wat happens..
But than again, wat applies in a friednship may not apply equally well in a relationship..
Judging from your 10 years of friendship with him, i guess u should know more or less how he treated his last and past relationships, so maybe u could decide from there and make a choice.
