How public can you get?

With the advent of internet, blogs, and social networking sites, getting a privacy is becoming hard because everything can suddenly be broadcast online, like your age, your name, your feelings, your opinions, your pictures, etc. Well I am a member of many forums and social networking sites also have a blog, but I can still hide some of my very private details and thoughts. How about you? How much of you are you willing to share online?

ya u r right ..getting privacy is becoming difficult..i am a member in 'orkut' a social networking site.. before there wer no privacy optiond in this website... but now a days orkut is allowing to keep some of our details privately... now i am able to hide my private details

I'm pretty private. I don't used my real name online, and has an alias for most of my discussion boards profiles. I state the city and state I live, but I do not give any more information beyond that. I don't have a blog nor a myspace account.
I don't mind sharing tidbits of information, like here in mylot, but I'm always aware that the internet can be a dangerous place for the unwary. So I try to protect my identity as much as possible.
