Men, would you rather have a sexy wife, an intelligent wife, or a good cook?

I really can't answer a question that specific in an instant. You the one you want to marry at the time.

If I must choose on the choices provided, and not have them all, I would prefer for an intelligent wife. Because I want her to be on her own, not depending on me or to any other. I want a wife that is smart to withstand any challenges but not too smart to deny her weaknesses. But actually all I want for a wife is a lady who I can live with harmoniously. In short, compatibility matters a lot to me. I wont go for a sexy wife, because many would lust for her. LOL. But if lucky enough, I would love to have one. :D I did not choose a good cook because I can hire one. Or I can eat outside and have a good meal. And it is an insult for a girl if you're reason for marrying her is because she is a good cook but not because you want her. But anyway, marrying is not yet on my plans now. I am still young and I know along the way I would know what I am looking for for a wife.

I posted a response to my husband's comment (vladilyich) but to put another couple of cents into our household, I thought I'd post a response thanking all the men who chose intellegence over the other stuff. Men who choose intellegent women are the best kind of men, just as women who choose intellegent men, as I did, are the best kind of women.

Actually none of those characteristics take into consideration the most important thing to me. I like a sweet caring wife. Her intelligence and cooking ability really isn't all that relevant and being sexy is largely a matter of personality and effort. For the record my wife is sexy and intelligent, but is only a mediocre cook. It'd be nice if she were a good cook, but that's a skill that has nothing to do with who I fall in love with. Don't take this personally, but this is exactly why I always tell people how completely retarded hypotheticals are. Nobody ever takes enough factors into consideration and people are constantly trying to force decisions based on incomplete, or impossible data. No person is made of just one characteristic. A woman who is just a good cook would be a self operating stove. One who is just intelligent would be an encyclopedia. Humans have more to them than that.

I think that I would much rather have an intelligent wife (which I do). Why you ask, well if she is intelligent, she can learn to be those other two as well.

I would say i rather have a wife who is understanding, loving and really cares for me. Intelligence, beauty and cook are rather superficial and insignificant points in a marriage in my opinion
