another child dies

i just saw in the news a 6yr old girls gets hit by a livery cab while playing outside in an open hydrant. my question is this where were her parents, dont they know from previious news that its not safe for children to play in a open hydrant on the street. another life lost over something that coulve been prevented!!!

Yeah that is such a tragic loss for their parents. I hope they learned a big lesson as parents. I too see a lot of the kids playing on the side streets and I feel that they should not do that without their parents watching over them.

very true and thier are planty of parks equipped with sprinklers were the kids wont get hurt.

I am not sure what a "livery cab" is, but whatever it is, it's sad that it hit and killed a child. I am sickened by the amount of unsupervised children that are playing around, these days. It's terrible!

a lvery cab is what we call a gypsy cab, non yellow cabs. the moron hit the girl and took her to the hospital but lied to the cops and had no drivers license.
