I had done a discussion about the fact that there is a Bowser Beer for made just for dogs and at a whopping $20.00 for a six pack...Well hang on folks...cause I just found out that yes, there is a company that makes "wine" for both cats and dogs.
It's not really wine mind you...most is made out of chicken or beef broth with added spices and things like potato flakes, or carrots, etc. The "wine" choices are
(Quote)
BARKUNDY: This fine wine captures the savory flavors of its natural ingredients producing a delightfully appetizing bouquet that will tempt the most finicky of quadruped connoisseurs. For the socially and environmentally conscious the Barkundy closely resembles the taste of beef but is a soy-based (vegetarian) option. This varietal will compliment any dining menu. While you have your Burgundy, they can have their Barkundy!
SAUVIGNON BARK: This wine is a wonderful blend of chicken broth, spices and vegetables offered up in a most unique presentation. A welcome addition to the diet of discerning creatures, this Savignon Bark is sure to be a favorite. When you are enjoying a delightful Sauvignon Blanc, your furry, four-legged friend can enjoy Sauvingon Bark!
PINOT LEASHEO: This 2007 Pinot Leasheo is a perfectly balanced marriage of flavors that will appeal to the most discriminating tastes. An anticipated, unique treat with which to conclude any day, it might also be an enticing appetizer. When the occasion calls for a Pinot Grigio, the 'other' members of the family can have Pinot Leasheo!
MEOWLOT: The subtle hint of fragrant aroma present in the 2007 Meowlot is a combination with which to peak the interest of all furry friends (dogs love it too). As a bonus to any meal this au-jus is a taste pleaser and sure to be enjoyed by all. The Meowlot is a vegetarian option. When you are in the mood for a Merlot, they can savor a Meowlot!
WHITE SNIFF-N-TAIL: Fine wine for both Canine and Feline. White Zinfandel lovers eat your heart out. Imagine the unmistakable aroma of fragrant salmon, combined with all the nutrients of delectable sweet potatoes. Now imagine your loved four legged member of the family savoring every delicious drop of the sweet nectar of Bark Vineyards White Sniff-n-Tail.
Varietal Ingredients:
Barkundy and Meowlot: water, hydrolyzed soy protein, potato flakes, carrots, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate as preservatives).
Sauvignon Bark and Pinot Leasheo: water, dehydrated chicken broth, potato flakes, carrots, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate as preservatives).
White Sniff-n-Tail: water, dehydrated sweet potato, dehydrated apple, salmon powder, malic acid, xanthan gum.
You can order this "wine" from this website
http://www.doglovergiftbaskets.com/store/1586691/product/DB-DCWine?gclid=CJbB3PGs65MCFQKcFQodB3kUWQ
Each bottle costs $12.99!! Can you believe that? Hey when I used to get my French Merlots or Cabernet Sauvignons, it only cost me about $6.99 tops a bottle...
Now who in their right mind though would get this so-called wine for their cats or dogs??...it's mainly made of broth and dehydrated veggies...uh. like duh? Can't one make this kind of stuff themselves?
Keep you posted folks if I find they have Champagne for Pets..if not..heck, maybe I'll concoct something myself, market it and become a zillionaire

I know onions aren't great for a cat....garlic??? I've sometimes have used garlic pills for my cats when they were sick...the author Anitra Frazier in her The Natural Cat book actually recommends it, but not for long term use, which I don't do

LOL wow! Well, I can honestly say that's the first I've ever heard of anything like that. It always amazes me to see some of the things people will come up with. I have to think that whoever created that stuff had a quite a sense of humor (or else some issues!). lol I'm so curious as to how much of that stuff has actually been sold!

I think this is utterly rediculous if you ask me. I, for one, would never buy this stuff for my furbabies.

I'd so get that for my cat for like special occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas or her birthday. I believe in total luxury for myself so why not my cat? Besides, who wants to drink nothing but water 24/7/365? I'm glad there's something out there that's safe for them to drink and gives them a taste of something new. She's already on flitered water and organic food and organic treats, why not a nice treat every now and then? Thanks for posting, I'm so getting some around the holidays.
