If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

I want to go to Italy. I know it is so prosaic, but I want to see Positano. What I would really love to do is backpack through Europe. I hope one day I get the chance to. Even if I have to wait until my twilight years to do it. I want to be one of those spritely old people that can do something like that.... Hmmm... I better get healthy first.

Ha, yes, I know that sounds crazy, but I like adventures and I love to go anywhere (almost anywhere) that I havent been to and north and south pole always looks to attractive to me, though I could be eaten by the polar bears. But I still love the place (from what Ive seen on TV).

LOL! Well, I did say anywhere. I don't think I would be ok with either the North or South poles. Too cold. The moon would be interesting though.

I haven't really been many places and never outside the US. I can list the states I have actually seen part of on my hands (Michigan born and raised, Wisconsin lived there 9 months as an adult, Iowa lived there six weeks as a kid, Illinois-mainly Chicago, Missouri, and Texas where we currently live). I want to travel, see the sites of this country as well as other countries. I love history so would love to visit a lot of great historical locations. I love beautiful things and would love to see art, museums, libraries, plays, ballet, and all sorts of things. Hopefully I will be able to do just that. Of course we are going on our first family vacation. We will be staying in Missouri, Indiana, Michigan (four days), Wisconsin, and Chicago. The only two things that will be a completely new experience for me will be Indiana (though I have driven through it plenty of times) and we are taking a ferry from Michigan to Wisconsin across Lake Michigan (one of the Great Lakes the trip will be four hours and is supposed to be a blast). It will be a great trip I am sure, I am just a little disappointed that it will all be familiar ground.

I am like you and have never been outside of the states, but I am planning for it one day. I will go see everything I want to see.

I will see Australia too. I intend to see a lot of stuff in my life. I just have to ask so I may believe and then receive.
