HOT and COOL at the same TIME???

hi everyone...
my friend here commentated on one of my discussions. she used the word hot and cool referring to the same thing...is it possible for a thing to be hot and cool at the same time hehe
^_^ what things do you think is hot and cool at the same time?

Hi meyal_monkee! Yes, it is possible for a thing to be hot and cool at the same time. I am trying to remember how those adjectives are being called, but I really can't remember. I will get back here if I recall this type of combining adjectives with opposite words to describe a thing.
Anyway, I can describe a sports car to be hot and cool, my husband who I can described as hot and cool..and maybe, your friends are also describing you as hot and cool on your back. haha..

I'm sure this is not what you had in mind for this discussion, but your title reminds me of a story we read in 3rd or 4th grade. I can't remember the title but it was about someone having to create something hot and cold for the king to eat. I think the character's name was "Bartholomew" (or something like that). What he created was hot chocolate sauce over cold ice cream.

thanks for the response its quite long time...i myself would forget most of the wonderful stories our teacher told us in our elementary days...hehe ^_^
anyways... it reminds me of an anime cooking show here in asia...its called cooking masterboy...and i remember he cooked something like that. or most of his masterpiece dishes was like that very unique and unusual to make...like hot and cold combined.

It's hot to be outside in the summer but look cool in our bathing suits? (if we're in shape)
I thought this guy I knew was really hot, but then I heard something he did and I decided he wasn't cool.
If you get in the shower before the water is adjusted, you'll get a head full of hot and cool water at the same time.
I'm thinking something about ice cubes and warm breath, but I can't say it because this discussion is not marked mature content.
