Peace in the world..?

Can there really be peace in the world? As long as people want money, i dont think its possible... Do you think we can attain it...?

First ask yourself this question why are there still militarys in every country in the world? Why do the military keep growing? is this peace?

Because of mistrust. A country will never lay down its weapons. If it does, it's putting the lives of all its citizens into the hands of the countries with weapons. Even if all countries sign a treaty that all weapons will be destroyed (imagine this as possible) there are still terrorists who will take advantage of the situation. It isnt a choice really.

No, I don't think we can attain such complete peacefulness in the world. We can't stop anyone from doing their selfish acts. I guess it would only happen after the Judgment Day, when Christ returns and a new promised world (a paradise) is established.
