I have seen a Television programme last day that One Indian doctor purchased land in Moon. From that programme I came to know that there are people who already own land in moon. Have you heard of this? Is there any point in spending money to purchase a place where you can not visit in your life time? But from the programe it was not clear that who owns the land in moon. Do you have an idea?

Yes, I have heard of this. People are selling plots of land on Mars as well. At this point it is little more than a scam. As official as they try to make it, there is no 'official' office that regulates and/or documents real estate claims on other planets. The most common defense for this sort of action is that because there is no regulation of real estate nor official claims to rights of real estate ownership on planets other than earth.

haha. thats funny. i guess it is just for the novelty point of it. like a topic to talk about at the bar. maybe it'll become a thing where chicks dig guys who own land on the moon. lol. i know people own stars and stuff so i guesss it's somewhere along those lines/
