who is your idol?

mine is Dale Carnegie and Avril. when i first read the books of Carnegie, i had failed my entrance exam of university. i didn't do well and couldn't enter a very good university. i was quite frustrated at that time. but it's Carnegie who pulled me through that. i became more positive and recovered my passion of life. now everytime i feel upset, i read his book. it really works.
Avril is a Canadian pop star.i love the strenth in her voice. her songs awlays encourage me to be strong. and her songs are really pleasant to listen. BTW, my favourite song is When You Are Gone. :)

Hi. My idol is Steven Gerrard, the captain of Liverpool Football(Soccer) Club. I am fasinated by his talent on the pitch. He can sprint through the tight defence. He can attempt a long shot and succeed. He can bring the team back to life when trailing.
You must watch the 2005 European Champions League Final (Liverpool v AC Milan). Milan was considered to be the much stronger than Liverpool. And they dominated the first 45 minutes. When the half time break came, the score was Milan 3-0 Liverpool. They even opened a bottle of champagne during the half time break. But LIverpool would not give up. They scored 3 goals in 10 minutes during the second half and the match went to penalties. Then Milan was defeated in penalties when Liverpool keeper Dudek denied Milan striker Shevhenko's shot. The spirit of never giving up impressed me.
And the FA cup final 2006, Gerrard scored an equalizer in the 93th minute to keep the team alive.
He's known as the leader of the team. He has faith and everything.
