I came in late last night and had just got into bed when there was a commotion outside. I looked out the widow and there were a number of foxes running back and forth, one was kicking up a fearful din. A territory dispute I am wondering? all the best urban

I have never actually seen a real fox. All I know of fox is what I see in books and stories. Maybe those foxes are looking for food because they too are experiencing scarcity of food like the rest of the world. All the best to the foxes!

CD, nice comment. Just can't stop myself from rating your post +, and along with that I have rated yours as well, urban... Seen foxes in zoo only. Why don't you set a trap and capture one, then try taming it? Is it really possible?

Well, I am happy just that they are wild and besides I think you would need to catch one very young to tame it all the best urban

Gosh! That was scarry! Hope you were not attacked by any of them. I have never seen a fox face to face/in real life. I only see them on tv. What might have attracted them to your compound?

Hi, We don't have compounds here, except perhaps in big cities. I have been face to face with a Fox. A place I was living I saw a fox out the window I put some dog food in a bowl and very gently opened the door, instead of running off it sat there looking steadily at me while I moved slowly out and put the bowl down. Foxes are timid creatures and won't usually attack unless provoked. all the best urban

We have foxes in Sweden too and they are not a threat to people - urban you describe them very good - they are exactly like that! I'd love to have right outside my window and be able to observe them! I wonder what they were up to!
