If u want to lead a good life,u need to be a good person. Many people are confused because they see 'bad' people who have very good life-full of comforts and conveniences. But to me that is a superficial expression of a good life. The good life is one which u r at peace in ur inner soul. When u r at peace with urself and others and when u have good habits of positive thinking and living, u can make each day a better day.
U must do things on ur own, exercising ur creativity, judgement, initiative and resourcefulness. U also need a clear idea of who u r and what u can do. When success comes to u, it may have a strange emptiness to it, it others have not been a part of of ur life or if u have not experienced the spiritual dimension of life- Ruth Stafford Peale- Personal Excellence.
I strongly believe in the theory and also belief 'badly' earned success is certainly short and ill-reputed too. Ain't it!

the world is full of garbage people living good life, but their life depends on lies and deceit to get there. it is filled with corruption. actually, this is the theme of my graphic novel that i am working on...a crime family who become rich based on a corrupt lifestyle. they enjoy the lifestyle but it will slowly come to an end because of a careless accident that went into the wrong hands, which slowly ends their luxurious lifestyle. because ill deeds are short-lived and will eventually get caught, no matter how long it will last.

Hi Ajay,
UR absolutely right.For maintaining decency life discipline is necessary.Follow the unfair means to get something momentary,it never last forever.Creating good reputation in society is important.Just think about Gandhi what reputation he has created and how much wealth he was. So apart from positive thinking U must do good thing to people and society.

I agree with you. There is truely someone doing things bad but seem to be "successful". And we can't imagine what they think happiness should be. Everyon has its own judgement about success and happiness. Just follow your heart and doing things that will make you happy. Being yourself, not be affected by others, not follow the bad guy to do the bad thing, that is a kind of success. That is my belief about life, no matter what others will think about.

You are right dear friend. For me, satisfaction is more important success than in any aspect of life. And this satisfaction comes only when your success is useful to others.

I do believe that too. To me success has nothing to do with being rich and living in luxury. I try to lead a good life and do no wrong to other people, and if I can do this I consider myself to be a success. Anyone who makes money from doing bad things is not a successful person, money will not enrich their life. It takes goodness to do that.
