Apple released new iPhone 3G for half the price of older one?

On 10 th June Apple Inc released the new iPhone 2.0 .They said that it's cost is half that of classic iPhone.8 GB phone costs 199$ and 16GB costs 299$.They even added so many new features to it.They are going to release the phone in 72 countries by the end of 2008.How do you react on this?.Are you interested in buying it?
