Do you have paintings in the room?

I have two paintings in our room. One was given to me by my student in India. It is a painting of Ganesha ( one of the most famous and most worshipped deities in Hindu culture). The second one is Barney (yes, the purple dinosaur) I made this for my son =P

I dont have any paitinting in my room because i havent come across any that have really caught my attention. I have a picture of an angel that i have hanging over my front door entrence but its not a painting. My mom has this really pretty one of water and boats i believe it what it is. Its a nice size too and its in her dining room. I think its beautiful.

I paint so have them on the walls. It really makes a difference in a room. They add live and vitality to the home.

I have twelve half finished paintings all over my house! lol! I work on them in bits, letting them dry and doing a little more on another. The only thing is to keep my budjet savvy enough to include more Impasto! Allways something else....

My fiance and I have several hand drawn, paintings throughout our home. They are mostly wildlife pictures of cougars, wolves etc. I love having them around the home it does spice up the walls some than just having them bare and empty. It gives our home character.

At least one in every room, all my own work. I love to paint and to display my work for others to enjoy! I can't wait to buy a house cause then I can paint the actual walls into murals as well as the ceiling!!! Hopefully in a year we will start looking, mybe sooner if I post more, LOL!

I love paintings. There's often more depth to them than a normal poster. I have two, both of them painted by friends which makes them extra special. One of them is a portrait of me as a Celtic woman and the other is an ironic punk religious painting that was a house-warming present from a friend. I love having things created by my friends. It makes them priceless!

Hi There, I am a huge art lover. I in particularly love paintings. The natural and vivid colours that come out are mesmerizing. I certainly do have paintings on my walls. I also have drawings and sculptures in our house. I love art of all kinds! cheers,

Hm...paintings?? I dont have. I like painting but i never think to put in on my room. it's wasting room. Better for me if i put photos on my room than paintings. But i dont say that i dislike it. I like it but i just like to see it not to own it.

i have a paintings and drawings i made. i sometimes pull down old ones and put up new ones, or change the position. i think it's important to have something you like on your walls

Yes!!! I can paint that is why I have paintings in almost all parts of the house. :D

I have paintings in my room because I'm an painter artist and i really love to paint.

I have a few paintings in my room, some of them are my own though. I have one painting that my friend did for me, its of us together.

i don't have any because there are less expensive pictures you can enjoy. i use lots of calendars cause you can change the picture every month. then i have prints on paper and cardboard of ocean views and island views. they are peaceful, pretty, relaxing and inexpensive. and mostly enjoyable.

No I don't have one but I wish to have it soon...

I have a beautiful big photograph of Sydney Harbour at night in the living room. We used have large photographs of my daughters in their ballet costumes in the family room - but for some reason we didn't put them back up after redecorating. The girls were embarrassed about them as they got older.

Hie Zergon, I don't have any paintings on my wall but will love to put up some when I catch any that is interesting. It would certainly make my room look more dignified My brother did some paintings, sketches when he was younger but all are still kept in the store room. Perhaps I could put up one of his collections. I wish I have the talent and have done it myself...would be certainly nice to admire my own handwork Cheers and have a good day!

I dont have any surprisingly but i do paint and keep them in other rooms of my house... i think keep my own paintings in my room would be a discouragement because then i would find mistakes in it and hate my own art..lol
