To those whose posts are already 100 and above, what was your first star rating? And how does it compared to your current rating now? did it improve or not? How do you feel about it?
I reached my 100th post last Sunday and I was happy to have an 8 star rating (it was actually 79/100). I was inspired by this and motivated to make better responses and discussions with you guys. Currently, I have a 9 star rating at 92/100. I know a lot of people here already reached a 10 rating and I would want to reach that too.

My first star was the same as the one I am having now and that's a 9 star, and after a week after reaching posts have I raised to a 10 star, but that only lasted for 2 days. I really wanted to get my 10 star back, but that's not so easy and not many mylotter have rated me now.

hello 5mayday, I just rated your response with (+) hoping this would help you gain back your 10 star. That's great that you had 9 already on your first time. Have a great day and keep posting!

When I reached my 100 post,my star rating was 7 and after a week or two it became 9 ( 92/100) but today it drops to 8 ( 79/100 ).Well it is fine for me and I take it positively since we are in public here and anybody can give us positive or negative depending on the person who rated us and I thanks for them.Have a nice day and may your rating be always 10.

Hello agihcam, thanks for sharing your experience on the star rating. We really don't have control over other members on how they view or perceive our responses or discussions that we start. They may rate it positively or the way around. So I guess we don't pay much attention on it. Rather, we concentrate in participating with the discussions we like to join and have fun sharing our views rather that being worried about how others will take our response. You have the right attitude and keep on posting. Sorry for starting this discussion, but I was just curious about the star rating then when I started (I just reached my 100th post that time).
I just rated you (+) and hope this helps. Cheers and have a great day!

I don't know about these stars until I reached my 100th post yesterday. To my surprise there was a yellow star with the number 8 above my name in my discussions. When I hover my mouse over it, it said "myLot reputation 80/100". I asked myself, "What is this for?" Until now, I don't know what is this for.
Today, my reputation increase a little bit to 83/100. I am more motivated to post in discussions when I see my star.

Hi zergonipal, do you think the stagnant rating you got is because no one gave you a + or - in your response? How about posting longer and quality responses? do you think it has an impact on your rating? Have a great day pal!
