Yes, Christopher Robin just popped into my head (too much Winnie the Pooh when my kids were young, I guess).
He is adorable, and has his own little personality. Lots more pics on my blog, if you care to have a look.

Nope. He'll sit on the edge of the box for hours at a time, watching robins all over the place, but they never get closer than a few feet from him. They don't pay him any attention at all.

days he will probably be able to fly off and leave

That's one thing I've been concerned about, will be learn to eat on his own or think that someone will always be there to shove something down his little throat, LOL.

Wow! He's growing quick alright. Pretty soon he will have mastered the art of flying and will leave the nest then. Wonder if he will remember you and return next spring.

He's teaching me tolerance and patience, that's for sure. It's been a lot of years since I had to do feedings every hour or two!
