Breast feeding

I just had my first baby in May so I'm new at this breastfeeding thing. In the beginning it was ok...I had to use one of those shields to get him to latch on. Now he is alittle over a month and he just doesn't want it..once in awhile I can get him to breast feed. So I have been pumping as much as I can for a few weeks now. I am only getting between 2 and 3 oz...He is now drinking about 4 oz a feeding...how can I produce more milk for him? I have been giving him breast milk and also similiac formula.

Talk to your doctor as there are some things that can help increase your milk production. A second thing to look at is Medela. They use to carry an item that would help stimulate your milk production because you still have your baby latched on but there a little tube right there that has formula coming through it.
