Shrek the Movie Discussion

I like the 1st and 2nd part much than the 3rd part..awaiting to watch the 4th. This is my favorite movie.

i absolutely loved this movie 4.5/5 mike myers as shrek is awesome and cameron dias' voice is sweet as usual shrek 2 was as good as the first part but shrek 3 was a bit dull

5 stars, excellent, love that movie. Have seen it several times and laugh my socks of each time. Think the casting is great with Mike Myers and an enhanced Scottish accent. Eddie Murphy is brilliant as donkey. Also enjoyed the second and third films, perhaps not quite as much as the first, but still good for a laugh.

Yes, I have seen all the Shek movies and I especially love the first one. It's a five star movie in my opinion. Maybe it's my love of twisting classic stories into satire, or that I can relate. I see a lot of myself in Shrek in that sometimes I feel like an angry and misunderstood ogre who likes my solitude and few people can reach me. There are even some mornings when I look in the mirror and a yellow-toothed, green faced ogre looks back; although my husband doesn't seem to notice the transformation (maybe I should have his glasses checked).

i also give it a 4. well 4.5 actually, its really funny! the voice behind the characters really did a great job!. on the second movie the really funny character for me was pinoccio! all the while the stories tell us he wanted to be a real boy, but in shrek he's gay!! the part where he was supposed to lie to make his nose longer so they could pick something out of the box or was it a cage where the ginger bread man was? i cant remember exactly. anyway, he said he wears girls underpants! and his nose didnt grow long! LMAO!!
