Do you freak out over little things?

I'm a pretty level headed person in real life. I don't like to freak out about little things, because it's upsetting for my child. She doesn't understand why I'm being that way. And, she cries. So, I try to brush things off. After all, nothing is so upsetting that can't be handled with a cool head and time to think.
When a big emergency arises, I deal with it. Then later, after the crisis passes, I can freak out in private. Do you freak out over little things? How do you handle upsetting situations? Do you blow up at them? Freak out and go beserk? Do you stop and take time to think about what you should do?

I do freak out over stupid little things, I over react terrible and it is not good. I know that I am opening myself up in future years to a massive heart attack if I carry on!
I just cannot help it, instant reaction and boom I am off. I need to think before I react but that can be easier said than done sometimes. Four kids can make you that way over the years.
I am now trying to relax myself more so that I act rationally before reacting.

I hear ya! My one kid makes me pull my hair out on some days. It's just her blood sugar. She gets some food or a cookie or hershey's kiss and she calms down. Every kid is different. I can't imagine what my next one will be like.

Drama Queen! Thankyou! That's the word for it. Now, what is it, when a man does that freak out thing? I know a certain guy who over-reacts about everything and I keep telling him to chill! Anger is bad for the heart and blood pressure. Be well.

I've always been level headed but I find that after having my children, I do freak out over silly thing (more so after my second child). But at a time of crisis or emergency, I am able to keep my cool and focus on what I need to do then.
I freak out over very silly things (like toys all over the place) especially when there is a lot of stuff going on at the same time.

I used to be a hot head when I was younger. I used to hate a dirty house or anything out of place and I used to freak out on my kids about it. Of course not till they were older, that is why I freaked out. They would just leave dirty dishes and toys all over the house and I would get mad at them for not cleaning them up. Now that I am older I don't let those little things bother me anymore and I rarely ever get mad now, never mind freaky. I don't let the little things bother me anymore, I don't stress the small stuff. I am a happier person this way and so are my kids, which are adults now.

That's my husband more than me. Very few things freak me out. I usually deal with them and get upset later. It does bother me when he makes me late and I faint (well, get dizzy) at the sight of blood though.

Oh, I don't like being late either! That is definitely something to get upset over. At least mildly!

I rarely freak out, though things do upset me. I do my best to resolve problems rather than get stressed. You seem to be the type of person I'd want with me in a crisis!

I have found that when there are big problems you cannot fix or deal with you tend to freak out at the little insignificant stuff as a way to let off steam.
We do have to be really careful about how we act in front of the kids though. Now that we are grown we forget just how scary it is to the little ones when the big people get angry or cry or scream, etc.

I tend to freak out and later realize it was kinda silly. I am a woman after all and I am pregnant so it is allowed for now.

I basically don't freak out at all (maybe I am cold-blooded *laughs*). I usually just sit there and think of what I should do whenever I have a problem. I think freaking out doesn't really help me to solve the problems and therefore I would prefer to save the time to do the solving part.
